DOING BUSINESS AT THE SURFING CAPITAL OF THE PHILIPPINES

    Sometimes when we feel that our life needs something new; we always looking for a new place to go and thinking that something will happen along the way. Now,when you reach that state of mind you already have the option, either a plain tourist or i guess, it's better a multipurpose tourist even your a wealthy person it's practical to save while having a tour anywhere in the world. Here, in SIARGAO Island, If you choose to live here you didn't notice that you're into it.
     
     It's a fact, there is so many foreign national here mostly, Australian, Americans, Europeans,Japanese and others. The first time they come in, is a sort of sightseeing,Island Hopping, snorkeling, Fishing and the best activity the Island can offer, surfing the world class wave, guaranteed  no shark attack. The reason why, in this part of the Pacific Ocean, Shark is a part of regular meal by the local folks, before they fully grown. That's why shark has no place to live here. Feel free to swim and no fear that someone will bite your legs.

          And after a few  months they comeback to buy a land  and  build some Rest house for good, and build some more cottages. But this time it's for rent and you  realized that your getting into business now?

          My prediction on Siargao  Island:.....more and more foreigners are migrating here, I smell the Island is becoming  a prime tourist distination in the near future.                                                                                                                                

PACQUIAO's Myth Hurt his Career

Even though Manny Pacquiao believed he is being robbed by the judges, in the eyes of boxing fans he is still the champ.The big question is why he changed the rituals before his fight, maybe Mr. Eddie Villanueva's presence in the team Pacquiao makes a difference. In the Philippines Mr, Villanueva is a known bible preacher and a catholic breakaway leader, his faction is one of the many religous competing here, I even saw  him on Pacquiaos T.V coverage in Las Vegas. It is also new to brings his whole family on ringside. The rumor said that Pacquiao is experiencing a wear & tear phenomenon, Maybe it's true because Manny is nearly 60 professional fights in his records and that's the good news for Mayweather jr. It is also new that we were not able to buy pay per view coz of overloading. JOKE : mediamen: Mr. Bradley, do you really want a rematch with Pacman Bradley:oh yeah men, but first i will consult my doctor if my jaw is already available by November 10.In an interview with Bradley after the fights he said that Manny is a beast, and he has a speed he never mentioned the killer punch that send him on a wheelchair.

PACIFIC RING OF FIRE

A month ago we experienced a 5.6 magnitude Earthquake here in SIARGAO  ISLAND not too strong but you can feel the ground shaking. That was the time  the tourist started coming and were very busy on that day preparing foods to our customers. I didn't think that our Squid Calamari on that moment will become Squid Ring of Fire. Like aftershocks the feast last several days. Meanwhile, in the middle of the voyage of one passenger ship who almost sunken by the giant waves; one passenger a small boy fell into the sea so the mother  in fear shouted very loud that every passenger hears her, offering big amount of money to anyone who saved her only son; but everyone in deep silence they felt the danger down there; but suddenly in a flash!!! an elderly man jump to the already gasping little boy to rescue him all the way up to the boat deck. After a while, everyone was smiling especially the mother of the boy and in no time wasting she give the promised money to the man. But the man looked at her very angry; and said; I don't need your money; I only need to know who pushed me to the sea and I'm the one giving money

CUSTOMER'S CHOICE

Unintentionally, but I keep remembering those people especially the old ones who came by to this restaurant and for so many menu list we made and keep updated,  when we miss something, there's no way you still encounter the hard headed customer.Remember, I'm talking to our foreign customer. One day, this man arrived from European country he ordered sunny side fried eggs ( ooh man you said it's fried so, I  use oil to fry) but to my amazed he instructed me to use water to fried the eggs but still, I'm seriously listening to him, I suggested to him that since you don't want oil to use to fried the eggs it's better we boiled  it whole or (poached) but he decline to me all I can say is o.k. sir no problem. In another occasion, a man (i suspect he's a gay) with a younger handsome guy companion ordered to our waitress also fried eggs but with a twist. She want's oops I'm sorry. He want's me to use butter instead of oil to fried the eggs. He reasoned out that he's allergic to coconut oil ( widely used here) he didn't know that the butter we used has coconut oil based too. I'm suffering headache, i'm sick out this life, i just wanna scream aaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh

The Difference Between Filipinos and Americans

If you called 9-11-11 be sure you're on the right place, because  in America if you call these numbers, the rescuer team will help you but in the Philippines, pizza pie will arrive still hot, There's a food chain here, specially in Manila, specializing this kind of business, door to door pizza pie delivery. I don't know yet if it's coincidence when they're applying telephone line. In another make believe facts.when an American guy want to get married an American woman very few involved in the process down to the reception. In contrast; if the woman is a Filipina be ready for the big budget; because of the woman relatives extended up to the fifth cousins and the whole Barangay ready to attack  the reception and the next thing is you know what i mean; but remember; if love is blind.....you'll find your  way... where you want to settle down. Here is another one common practice by the Filipinos; we call it "Filipino time" don't follow the agreed time make it a habit 1 to 2 hours late. So, next time you visit this country, don't be amazed. In one occasion at the roadside, a young boy shouted to a passersby who happened to be a U.S. bachelor said the boy,"hey Joe" the man replied I'm not Joe I'm John.

Fishing Blue Marlin on Philippine Deep

                                                                                                                 Weighing up to 1000 kgs.This delicous fish when grilled was a sure hits to a beach resorts, big city restaurants anywhere in the world. But how could you catched this dream fish? The locals here in siargao island did find a way by putting a metallic fabric, cut into half - foot stripe form onto the end of a fishing nylon this serve as a bait. This patterned was used to catched the ideal tender sized of  this kind of fish, from 30 to 100 kls. of weight, based on my  cooking experience and several conversation with the island veterans fisherman.
 

 Summertime was the best season of this catched, the month of May,June and July. But the following month you would rarely find them for the whole year round. Don't forgot to bring foods and drinks  if you have a plan to go fishing and the most important( life jacket).I tell you this because, here, we only use small boat of 2 to 3 person in capacity and you always shattered by the big waves.and better be secured.  Remember you're on philippine deep almost 35,000 ft. depth on this part of the pacific ocean, and also site of deuterium gas wating to be developed by foreign nationals. Tourist oftentimes  rented the boat for php 5,000 for the whole day including boat operator/fisherman.
